Dr. Michel Salameh earned his doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from the University of Thessaly in Greece in 2006. He then completed a one-year residency in the Small Animal Internal Medicine department in 2007. After working in several clinics and hospitals, he moved to France and earned a diploma in Veterinary Public Health from the National Veterinary School of Lyon in 2009.
From 2009 to 2012, he worked at a respected veterinary hospital in Lebanon, where he helped on several projects with the Ministry of Agriculture and the World Organisation for Animal Health (WOAH, formerly OIE). He regularly attends congresses to keep his knowledge current, with topics including Small Animal Internal Medicine and Surgery, Artificial Insemination, Practice Management for Small Animal Clinics, Food Safety, and Population Health.
In April 2012, he launched Animalife Veterinary Hospital in Hazmieh, a full-service animal hospital. He is hands-on, hard-working, and committed to giving pet owners a better standard of service.
